Hi, my name is Rakel Rósa and I am a mother of two from Akranes. The idea for Garnikó came from my passion for knitting and the desire to create a space for inspiration and living experiences.

I started knitting in 2020 and have been knitting ever since. This hobby has given me so much more than just beautiful garments and accessories, I have met people of all ages, enjoyed myself in creativity, managed to relax in incredibly fun company and received guidance from wonderful women who have truly taught me a lot.
