Delivery time
Delivery time is usually 2–4 business days from the time the order is received and payment has been confirmed. Products are posted the next business day and sent via Iceland Post or Dropp, as applicable.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs are added to the order before payment is made. You can choose to ship to the nearest post office / Drop location or home delivery to your door. The price list for shipping depends on the price list of the carrier. Shipping costs are waived if the purchase is for 15,000 kr. or more. The customer is responsible for registering the correct address when ordering. Free home delivery is offered in Akranes.
Payments
You can pay by credit card, VISA, Mastercard Maestro and American Express - by entering your card number or with Apple Pay.
You can also pay with Aur, Netgíró or bank transfer.
An order is not confirmed until payment has been received.
Price
Garnikó reserves the right to cancel a transaction if an incorrect price has been given due to a typographical error or other mistake. All prices in the online store are displayed with VAT, but shipping costs are added before payment is made. If a product is found to be out of stock, the customer will be contacted and offered a refund or another product instead.
Prices may change without notice due to supplier price changes, changes in import duties and/or VAT.
All prices are subject to typing and printing errors.
Return of goods
Garnikó customers have 20 days to return purchased products, provided that the product has not been used and is in its original condition. The return period begins when the product is delivered and a receipt must be included with the return. The cost of returning the product, including shipping costs, is paid by the customer. Garniko must be contacted at garniko@garniko.is if a product is to be returned.
If a defect occurs in a product purchased from Garnikó, customers are offered either a new product, a discount or a refund, depending on what is most appropriate given the circumstances and the nature of the defect. The rights of individuals who purchase products for their own benefit are covered by the Consumer Purchase Act No. 48/2003, while purchases by companies and individuals for commercial purposes are subject to the Commercial Purchase Act No. 50/2000.
